The Nature Conservancy of Canada ("NCC") works to protect Canada's most threatened natural habitats and the endangered species that call them home.

The W. Garfield Weston Foundation has been a strong supporter of the conservation activities of the NCC since 1989, when funds were provided to secure three wetland properties in Ontario. In the years that followed, the Foundation has expanded its support to include land conservation and stewardship projects across Canada.
