The Manitoba Tall Grass Prairie Preserve represents one of the largest and last remaining tallgrass prairie landscapes in North America. The Preserve forms the northern end of an international conservation corridor comprised of protected prairies, wetlands, forests and streams. Well-coordinated management actions ensure that all ecological communities and the species that depend on them continue to flourish. A school outreach program provides opportunities for outdoor education to the public.
